Seeking Summer Analysts in 2026.
Our Summer Analyst Program, which runs from early June through mid August each year,
offers college sophomores hands-on exposure to middle-market M&A investment banking.
Located in Richmond, Virginia, analysts must be able to work
full-time, in-person over the duration of the program.
Overview
Summer Analysts gain meaningful experience supporting industry research, transaction execution, financial analysis, and strategic advisory within a boutique investment banking environment. You will be expected to contribute directly to active engagements while improving your foundational technical skills and to gain real-time professional experience.
This internship is structured to provide early, hands-on exposure to middle-market M&A advisory, including sell-side and buy-side mandates, corporate valuations for public and private companies, specific industry research, and overall transactional support—all grounded in the values of integrity, collaboration, and precision that define MAE. The program is designed to strengthen candidates ahead of their junior-to-senior (rising senior) summer internship recruiting cycle by providing early, hands-on transaction experience.
